In late February, BirdLife Cyprus will be arranging workshops for its volunteers participating in systematic bird recording schemes such as the monthly waterbird counts, Atlas of breeding birds counts, common breeding bird counts, nocturnal counts, Roller counts etc.
As usual, the workshops will be held at the BirdLife Cyprus offices at Strakka (Nicosia) and in the Paphos area and the events will be a chance to catch up on what has been done so far and on plans and changes for 2016. Probable dates (to be confirmed) are 26 February 2016 for the Nicosia meeting and 29 February 2016 for the Paphos meeting.
If you are a keen and capable birder and would like to join our team of dedicated volunteer recorders, please get in touch with Research Coordinator Martin Hellicar on firstname.lastname@example.org
