We are happy to announce the arrival of the new BirdLife Cyprus 2017 calendar which showcases pictures of the birds and habitats of Akamas. This is one of the larger, distinctive and key sites for bird conservation in Cyprus.

A big and warm thank you to everyone who took part in the ‘153 birds’ drawing competition and congratulations to the lucky winners! We received over 300 drawings and the difficult task of selecting the winners was undertaken by a committee comprised of BirdLife Cyprus staff and members of its Council, who chose the following:

On Sunday, 20 March 2016, BirdLife Cyprus held its Annual General Meeting at the Akrotiri Environmental Center in Akrotiri, Limassol. The AGM was attended by a total of 43 people who were informed about BirdLife Cyprus’ activities for 2015 and were presented the workplan and budget for 2016.

BirdLife Cyprus' Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Sunday, 20 March 2016 at the Akrotiri Environmental Education Centre, in the village of Akrotiri, Limassol. The AGM will start at 10.00 am, if there is no quorum at 10am the official start of the AGM will be at 10.30am. There will be welcome coffee/tea from 9.30am.
