Join us for an excursion to Kouklia Dam in Famagusta to discover birds that visit the lake during spring. Old and young will have the opportunity to explore this important wetland and use binoculars and telescopes to see up close waterbirds.

Kouklia Dam is the first dam ever built in Cyprus. It was constructed by the British in 1900 and is located near the occupied village of Kouklia in Famagusta. It is fed by the Pedieos River. Most years it remains dry, but when weather conditions allow, it transforms into a haven for waterbirds.
