On Sunday, 20 March 2016, BirdLife Cyprus held its Annual General Meeting at the Akrotiri Environmental Center in Akrotiri, Limassol. The AGM was attended by a total of 43 people who were informed about BirdLife Cyprus’ activities for 2015 and were presented the workplan and budget for 2016.

In addition, a series of presentations by BirdLife Cyprus staff took place about the new bird recording system BirdTrack, the new Darwin project for the restoration of the Akrotiri Marsh and the latest updates regarding BirdLife Cyprus illegal bird trapping campaign. Finally, two members were appointed to the Audit Committee.

Following the AGM, some of the participants enjoyed meze by the sea at Lady’s Mile.
