Come and celebrate with us the wondrous world of birds and nature at Athalassas Forest National Park, through fun activities for young and old.
The event is organised within the framework of the project ‘Birds Flying High’, which is funded by the Erasmus+ European funding tool (Small-Scale Partnerships-Key Action 2). The project aims to provide primary school students and teachers from Cyprus and Greece with a unique environmental educational program that helps them appreciate and connect with birdlife that lives around them and co-exist in the cities and villages.
The schools that actively participated and implemented the programme in Cyprus were the Primary Schools of Konastantinoupoleos, Lymbia, Lythrodontas and Mathiatis.

Cyanotype is one of the oldest methods of photography where the image, as a photogram is formed by a deep blue (cyan) colour from the combination of two chemicals when exposed to the sun. In this workshop, we will learn the technique step by step and by using feathers we will create a beautiful postcard. Registration is required during the event day.

Together we will discover flora and fauna, shelters, animal tracks, our relationship with nature and each other, make crafts, discover natural ways of survival and share stories and experiences!
