Join us on Sunday, December the 1st, at BirdLife Cyprus’ outdoor learning space, Thkio Mosfilies, to spend a morning dedicated to the birds and wildlife around us.

Programme

10:00 – 10:30 Bird ringing and release

Birds of prey and owls that were rehabilitated at the Game and Fauna Service’s Rehabilitation Centre will be ringed and released back to nature. In collaboration with the Game and Fauna Service.

10:30 – 12:30

• Pond dipping.  Let’s discover the secret life beneath the water’s surface and learn more about the wondrous world of dragonflies.
• Creative crafts using natural materials

12:30 – 13:30

Stay with us for a pic nic at the site. We will offer snacks and drinks. Feel free to bring your own blanket or cushions and any other snacks you would like to enjoy.

Children who will participate in activities will receive a goodie bag as a gift, filled with educational material to keep exploring nature at home or at school!

The event will take place at Thkio Mosfilies, BirdLife Cyprus’ outdoor learning space in Frenaros, Famagusta. The exact location will be shared closer to the event to registered participants.
