Two months and 140 km of training runs later, Christina, BirdLife Cyprus Monitoring and Research Coordinator, completed the OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO Half-marathon on 19 March 2017 in 2 hours 5 minutes and 51 seconds, raising more than €1,300 for BirdLife Cyprus in the process!

Thank you, on behalf of Christina and the entire BirdLife Cyprus team, to all those who so generously donated! We will be putting the funds raised to good use towards nature conservation efforts over the next few months.

Not content with completing the Limassol Half-marathon, Christina has extended the fundraiser to April, when a BirdLife Cyprus contingent will be taking on Dorians Challenge, a coastal obstacle race in Pyla, Larnaca.
