Key information: The House Sparrow is one of the most well-known birds of Cyprus. Αs it likes to live near humans and nest in holes in buildings. Most of the time, it can be found in inhabited areas as it likes to live near humans and nest in holes in buildings. When they are not nesting, they live together in flocks of up to one hundred birds. The female is more uniform in appearance, lacking the black bib.
