Βασικές πληροφορίες: The Grey Heron is an unmistakable large grey bird. It has very long legs, a long thin neck and a long bill. It can be seen at wetlands or along embankments, standing still for hours on end. During migration, it can also be seen flying along the coast or resting on coastal rocks. Like other herons and egrets, it flies with its neck curved in the shape of the letter ‘S’.
